Admissions Process
All admissions to Meadowcroft School are made through a Local Authority (LA) referral.
Once a referral is received, the school carefully reviews the information provided to ensure the pupil’s needs align with our admissions criteria. If the school feels it may be an appropriate placement, arrangements will be made for the pupil and their parent(s)/carer(s) to visit the school.
The visit will include:
- A tour of the school
- An introduction to key staff
- A meeting to discuss the school’s curriculum, provision, and policies
Parents, carers and pupils will have the opportunity to ask any questions and gain a full understanding of the provision on offer.
If, following the visit, all parties agree that Meadowcroft School can meet the pupil’s needs and there is a commitment to the placement, admission arrangements will be progressed in partnership with the Local Authority.
