Meadowcroft School is an independent special school catering for pupils from Year 1 to Year 14. Pupils join our school with an EHCP and have often experienced a ranger of barriers to their education.
Our school is divided into three Phases: Primary Phase, Secondary Phase and Post 16.
Nurturing every child and young person to become a ‘STAR’ is our core ethos and at the heart of everything we do at Meadowcroft School. Our ethos is supported by our promise to provide a safe and engaging place to learn, access to a broad, balanced curriculum which is differentiated to meet the needs of the individual. We support the need of every child and young person by placing the Individual Learning Plans (IEP) at the centre of our curriculum and therapeutic offer.
The school recognises that for a child to become a ‘STAR’ it is imperative that we work closely with our therapeutic team, including speech therapists, the occupational therapists, art therapist and educational psychologist. This enables to us to work closely with our children and young people, to ensure that that they have the best support possible to access the curriculum and learn skills to prepare them for adulthood.
